Spring Fling UPDATEMore info at www.xpressions.orgApril 1st, 2006 Beauty Galore!!!The Beauty Consultants from Estee Lauder (The Bay, Kingston) are keen, very keen to tend to the gals at the Spring Fling! They will bring a full selection of camouflage, concealers, eye shadows, eye liners, blushes, foundation, lip stickers…anything that gals like us want and need! The makeup workshop begins at 3:00 p.m., right after the Fashion Show, with private makeup consultations/applications running to 6:00 p.m., or into the cocktail hour if the demand is great! The beauty consultants may come back for the dance! So, if you’ve always wanted to dance with your beauty consultant but never had the chance, the time has come!  How many of you will wish a private consulation / application? (there will be a small fee)  Please let Alexa know as early as possible alexalady_ont@yahoo.ca so that she can arrange to have enough enthusiastic Estee Lauder beauty consultants on hand!  Wigs Galore!!The manager and consultants at All-Ways Hair Styling and Tanning Salon (Kingston) are excited about the opportunity to host the Wig Workshop. Along with bringing a broad range of wigs in different colours, styles and prices, they will also talk about wig fitting, care and cleaning. There will be lots of time to try on different wigs and get tips on the best cut and style for you. If you ever wondered how you might look as a blonde, this will be the time! “This gal” thinks that brunettes have the most fun though!! Fashion Galore!!Additionelle, Penningtons, Reitmans and RW & Co., four of the Reitman chain stores have fully embraced this Spring Fling! The store managers will be at the Fashion Show to watch, “enjoy” and show an extensive range of the spring and summer fashion. Each store will have at least 5 of their garments modelled, from lingerie to skirts, blouses, jackets, pant suits and dresses! Each store will have on display a selection of their garments and accessories. You’ll see what was modelled in the show plus other fun items to complement your present wardrobe! All of the store managers are wonderful and they realize that the CD/TG market is a growing one so STOP BY their table and introduce yourself! Take their business cards and you’ll have wonderful fashion associates who will do their best to dress you whenever you are passing through Kingston!! Check out the store websites so you know the best store for you! (sizing, etc.)  One of the assistant store managers who is very, very outgoing and infatuated by this Fashion Show idea is going to MC the 1 hour show! Trust me, she will do an amazing job. She will provide information on each outfit (ie. stretch, material, style, season, etc.) There will be some banter by a couple of us gals to complement what Margaret has to say about the fashions!   By the way, Margaret and Gail (Additionelle) entertained me in the Changing Room for 2 hours. After trying on eight outfits, I finally slipped on the 3-piece suit and sealed the deal! These two are amazing women!!! A reminder: SUNDAY MORNING SHOPPING:Additionelle, RW & Co., and Reitmans will open early on Sunday for private shopping! There won’t be a better time to try on outfits and get your perfect fitting! No more grab and run! Relax, browse, ask for assistance and try on the dress or skirt! 10% discount from Additionelle (Margaret and Gail); the other stores will probably do the same! Fetish Wear Galore!!Cynthia’s (Kingston) will be bringing a selection of inexpensive wigs as well as an interesting rack of Fetish Wear, lingerie and accessories! So, for those gals who head out to fetish nights in Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa, make sure you swing by Cynthia’s display! Her rack is interesting (clothes that is!). She will also open up on Sunday to cater to our group. (The store is usually closed on Sunday but will open up for an hour or so if the interest is there….so chat with Cynthia!)   Holiday Inn Reservation NEWSThe Kingston Holiday Inn will honour the Conference rate until there are no longer rooms available BUT the reservations NOW must be made directly through the Kingston hotel (613-549-8400), quote Xpressions. Don’t wait too long as tenting in the parking lot is not permitted!   Spa at the MillA reminder that if you wish to pamper yourself on Saturday morning, after a long night of partying in the downtown bars, book an appointment with Therse at the Spa as soon as possible. This Spa is gorgeous and therefore very popular. She will bring in additional spa therapists if there is the demand! She and her staff are excited to meet some of the gals (and spouses too).
